[00:50.750 --> 00:54.930] my shop door. I just come out and pop around the corner and it's ready to go.
I Actually finished a project! 💪Description in audio. Previous posts on this show the thoroughly trashed condition of the table system. I reground all the way surfaces and table top. I used dowels for the 4mm rollers and dissembled caged needle bearings to get the 2mm rollers but had to cut them in half, face to length and radius the corners on 98 rollers. Some serious body and paint work on the base cabinet mods and the rest of the comparator. Had to remove mineral deposits off the lens surfaces and the main mirror. White vinegar worked well and didn't affect the surfaces as far as I can tell. This thing obviously sat in the rain for a while. But for less than $650 including freight I think I got a bargain. It came with 10x and 20x lenses and I have 5x, 50x and 100x on the way from ebay.
