1. Video showing finish using
just plastic media, no porcelain burnishing.
2. Video all those parts churning in the bowl. Be patient, you will see the big parts go by eventually.
3. Overall system. Bucket on the left is from the media that's in the bowl now. It's ready for receiving the media back from the dump chute.
Bucket under the unit has the pump and solution for that media. The white tube on the side of the bucket is to let the return solution enter toward the bottom below the pump yet have the inlet above the max solution level.
4. Tapered plastic plug so solution doesn't gush or evaporate while stored with the lid on.
5. Plastic sheet over the inlet to influence the return solution to gently flow across the bottom of the bucket for sedimentary filtering.
6. Pump on it's clip on hanger with the pump inlet extended with a piece of SS tubing to above the lid.
7. Filter basket like my grinder with 5 micron bag and wire mesh support liner that let's the filter bleed unrestricted everywhere.
8. Tube taking the filtered solution into the pump bucket inlet.
9. Dump chute extension made from a spray bottle and hose clamp. Clamp is bonded to the extension with 3M transfer tape for hard to bond plastics.
Work in progress. The filter bucket gets rid of the foaming problem so far. Plastic media is the worst for the fine sludge and the 5 micron maybe too fine of a filter for plastic media in continuous use but it was able to do a 3-hour run and still have enough fluid in the pump bucket to operate. It took about 15 hours for all of the fluid in the filter bag to finally drain through.
