Unusual use of a Wholhaupter to face off a pad on the quill housing of the track Mill. the funny part is I thought I was going to be able to put the Tommy bar in the Wholhaupter and just hold it while I face that off until I realized the boring bar was going to come around and smack the Tommy bar every time. So that's the reason for the manual peck feed that worked quite well. This pad allows indicating alignments without changing the tool in the spindle. The pad will also hold the cold air gun magnetic mount. Don't try this at home!
