[00:09.550 --> 00:16.430] with an HSIO high speed input output module. Three dumb stepper drives

[00:23.970 --> 00:30.250] salvaged from another panel but fits the application here. I have one of the
[00:30.250 --> 00:35.690] three MPGs hooked up to test out and make sure that the digital readout can
[00:35.690 --> 00:40.750] function as I expected and it does well. It's not as snappy as a real digital but
[00:40.750 --> 00:45.210] more than adequate enough for using on a grinder. This is the preliminary main
[00:45.210 --> 00:52.810] page, preliminary dress data page, preliminary page for MPG increments
[00:52.810 --> 00:58.330] and setting all of the axis stops and retract positions, DRO page for setting
[00:58.330 --> 00:59.010] and pre-setting.

Electrical panels pretty much done and just testing to make sure the digital readout on the HMI actually functions because a customer is asking me to do that on another project. not quite as snappy as a real digital but more than adequate. I am adding a feature that I haven't seen on any non CNC grinder controls. Since this will have axis home positions and can go to repeatable locations. I am making it capable of storing and recalling 50 different setups by number. One setup includes XYZ stroke limits, and XYZ retract position. So with one number you can recall a previous set up and have all those settings recalled for a repeat job or for a multi set up job. Same idea applies to 50 wheels with diameter stored so that you can go to auto dress automatically without having to touch off if the wheel was used before. The same 50 will apply to every other parameter entry page like dressing and grind cycles. I added a pickup to the grinding wheel spindle so that it will display live wheel RPM and since it knows the wheel diameter live surface feet per minute. This will also allow dressing feed rates in feed per wheel revolution which is a much better unit to work with. There are actually two HMI panels like that one dedicated to the MPG settings and stop locations and the other to all other grinder control. Lots more but most probably didn't get this far anyway.
